Welcome to the Information Source for Kansas City’s Downtown Streetcar Project

The KC Streetcar in downtown Kansas City, Mo., will open for business in summer 2015. This exciting, modern transit solution will fill a gap in our resurgent downtown. The two-mile north-south route will operate on city streets, connecting the River Market area to Crown Center and Union Station, serving the Central Business District, the Crossroads Arts District and the Power & Light District.
