KC Current to unveil new streetcar wrap in anticipation of historic inaugural match at CPKC Stadium

The KC Current and the KC Streetcar are set to make a bold statement with the unveiling of their third collaborative streetcar wrap on Friday, March 8, at 3:00 pm. The public is invited to join the celebration at the Union Station streetcar stop, where the KC Current players will be in attendance, and the Teal Mobile will be on site selling KC Current merchandise, including the new 2024 kits.

The event holds special significance as it coincides with International Women’s Day, highlighting the continued commitment to women’s sports and empowerment. Just one week before the historic home opener at CPKC Stadium on March 16, where the KC Current will make history in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), this unveiling sets the stage for an exciting season ahead.

The artwork on the streetcar features dynamic images of several KC Current players including Lo’eau LaBonta, Hallie Mace, Nichelle Prince, and Debinha. The fun continues inside, with each seat adorned in the team’s new primary and secondary kits for the 2024 season. This collaboration between the KC Current and the KC Streetcar has become a tradition, marking the beginning of each National Women’s Soccer League season with style and community engagement.

The public unveiling event promises to be a lively occasion with the Teal Mobile on site offering a range of KC Current merchandise for fans to show their support. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the official streetcar wrap unveil, shop at the Teal Mobile and capture memorable photos ahead of the highly anticipated home opener.
