The KC Streetcar will be operating with 4 streetcar service in order to accommodate the Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

KC Streetcar service will start at its regularly scheduled time of 6:00 a.m. and will operate with 10 minute frequencies until approximately 10:30 a.m. At that time, streetcar service will be temporarily suspended until the end of the Chiefs Victory Parade and Rally at Union Station. Streetcar service will resume with 4 streetcar service once the tracks are clear between 20th Street and Pershing Road. Notice of the resumption of service will be posted on the KC Streetcar website, social media channels, and communicated through our RideKC Notify text alert service. Sign up for notification of resumption of streetcar service by texting “streetcar” to 816.685.8541.
The Union Station streetcar stop will close to passengers at the end of regular service Tuesday, February 13. On Wednesday, February 14, KC Streetcar passenger service will be available at all streetcar stops except Union Station. Starting Wednesday morning, riders and parade goers must exit the KC Streetcar at the Crossroads southbound stop. Northbound travelers may board the KC Streetcar at the Crossroads northbound stop.

Kansas City will host the Chiefs Victory Parade for the Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Wednesday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m.. The parade will be followed by a victory rally at Union Station. During this time, Main Street will be closed between 20th Street and Pershing Road. Passengers, pedestrians, and automobile traffic will not be able to access Main Street south of 20th Street during this time.
