Anticipate Opening in Fall 2025

Starting in late March 2025, the KC Streetcar Constructors started the massive repaving of Main Street between Linwood Blvd and 49th Street. This will smooth out the entire roadway outside of the trackways, followed by permanent re-striping of the entire alignment.

Federal Funding

On Friday, January 8, 2021, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the City of Kansas City, Mo., officially signed the Full Federal Funding Agreement (FFGA) for the KC Streetcar Main Street Extension at a brief ceremony at the KC Streetcar Singleton Yard.
