Construction Progress

Overall KC Streetcar construction is 84 percent complete.

At the August meeting of the KC Streetcar Authority, the KC Streetcar Constructors reported that the project is 84 percent complete, with remaining work primarily focused on platform construction and curb restoration. The construction of the Singleton Yard Vehicle Maintenance Facility is 90 percent complete and the wire installation is approximately 71 percent complete.  The final wire run is anticipated for the first week of September.

Additionally, the first power sub-station is scheduled to be delivered on August 28.  This is the first of four power sub-stations that will power the KC Streetcar.
