10 years of the KC Streetcar

Since opening day 10 years ago, the KC Streetcar system has logged more than 18 million trips. The KC Streetcar system is averaging 10,000 trips per day since the southern extension opened at the end of October 2025. In the first four months of 2026, the KC Streetcar has completed around 1.2 million passenger trips. And now, in less than two weeks, we will open the second extension of the system and connect to the Riverfront.
