The KC Streetcar opened to the public on May 6, 2016. The KC Streetcar is the most frequent transit service in the region, with streetcars running every 10-15 minutes during peak periods, seven days a week. During off peak hours, streetcars run every 12 to 18 minutes.
The KC Streetcar is free to ride.
The administrative and operations staff of the KC Streetcar Authority are located at the Kite Singleton Vehicle Maintenance Facility at 600 East 3rd Street. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
The KC Streetcar will operate Labor Day Weekend 2018 with these hours:
Friday: 6:00am – 2:00am
Saturday: 7:00am – 2:00am
Sunday: 7:00am – Midnight
Monday: 7:00am – 11:00pm
The KC Streetcar 2018 Winter Holiday Schedule is as follows:
Christmas Eve 7:00am – 10:00pm
Christmas Day: 7:00am – 10:00pm
New Year’s Eve: 7:00am – 2:00am
New Year’s Day: 7:00am – 10:00pm
The KC Streetcar does operate on holidays but on an adjusted schedule.
